In my early teens, I began reading classic Sci Fi authors, like Robert Heinlein and Arthur C. Clark, shifting later to edgy suspense and thriller authors like  Harlan Coben, Riley Sager, and Stephen King, and that became what I wanted to write.

While I began writing full-length novels somewhat late in my life, in the past five years, I have completed eight fast-paced, pulse-pounding Wallowa Lake Thrillers, each featuring some recurring characters; another four stand-alone, psychological/paranormal novels; and I'm working on the next one now. I like to invent startling schemes that force my protagonists (many of whom are feisty females) into grave peril from which they must escape.  In my hometown of Austin, Texas, to relax from writing, I play rock guitar loud.

Editing, covers, and promotional costs force my book releases to a minimum--only three ebooks self-published thus far. The most current, Angel of Oregon, was released early this summer and is now available in paperback Print on Demand. Angel followed The Wood Sprite, issued late in 2023, and The Wailing, published the previous year. I hope to continue to release the Wallowa Lake Thrillers twice a year.
